Meet Ironman Abdullah Al Imran, an IT professional at a bank and a remarkable athlete. With a swift pace of 2:50 hours for a 25K distance, he's set to conquer Dhaka 25k 2024's event.

His journey includes achievements like Bangla Channel swimming (2018), IRONMAN Malaysia (2018), IRONMAN 70.3 Bintan, Indonesia (2019), Oceanman Asian Championship 2022 in Krabi, Thailand, and the Oceanman World Final Championship 2023 in Phuket, Thailand.

Starting his sports life as a cadet of Faujdarhat Cadet College in the '90s, Abdullah maintained a healthy lifestyle with regular swimming and running. In 2013, he ventured into cycling, and upon discovering Ironman, he embraced marathons and Bangla Channel swimming in preparation.

In 2022, he focused on swimming, culminating in the Oceanman Asian Championship. This year , he completed the Oceanman World Championship 2023, emphasizing swimming with consistent running and cycling. Abdullah aims to continue his triathlon journey for a healthy lifestyle and plans to explore extreme triathlons in the future. He'll also keep an eye on global swimming and major marathon races.

His philosophy? Run your own pace, choose races based on interest and body condition, and prioritize gradual increases in intensity and volume. Consistency is key, and pushing limits should be done wisely to avoid injuries.
