Introducing our pacer for the Dhaka 25K 2024, Ironman Sultan Mahmud Ripon. He will maintain a pace of 25Km with a remarkable time of 2:40 hours.

During his time at Sylhet Cadet College, Sultan's athletic prowess was evident, particularly in cross-country running. After transitioning from college to Dhaka University, his professional journey flourished.

In 2017, he returned to track events through the Dhaka Challenge Duathlon, subsequently participated in Dhaka Half Marathon events, Tata Steel Kolkata 25K in 2018, Powerman Asia Championship in 2019, Ironman Full Distance in 2022, Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship in 2023, and several other successful running events.

Running, cycling, and swimming have become integral parts of Sultan's life, contributing to his unparalleled enjoyment of the present moment. As an employee of one of the country's top banks, City Bank PLC, Sultan seamlessly balances body, mind, family, society, and professional life.

His passion for running has inspired many, especially the younger generation, to take a keen interest in this sport. To the running community, Sultan’s advice:
- Regularly engage in discussions about running. Strength training and yoga are crucial alongside running.
- Avoid giving sudden pressure on the body; adhere to the 10% rule when increasing running distances to prevent injuries.
- Maintain a balanced and nutritious diet.
- During runs, replenish by consuming electrolyte-rich fluids to counteract dehydration.
